KEAP MOTION

I'm required to wear many hats as the Design Lead at Keap. Out of necessity, I taught myself motion design. Each of the following projects was a major learning experience for me. I don't consider myself a motion design pro, I know just enough to make some cool videos.

Lottie Animations

I really love the idea of scalable vector animations, so when Lottie came along, I had to give it a try. I created the following animations for both our product team and for marketing projects like our Subject Line Generator.

Color Update

We updated our Brand Colors at Keap so I decided to create this little announcement video to post in Slack.

What is a CRM?

This was a really fun video to animate, It was also my first time keying a subject off of a green screen. So far, it's one of Keap's fasting growing videos on YouTube.

Instagram Ads

This was our first go at using some 3D animation for Instagram ads. They ended up performing very well for us.

Easy Automations (Launch)

This video was the cornerstone of our launch campaign for Keap's "Easy Automation" feature. It was very well received both internally and externally. The design team was able to take the visual style established in this video and spin up landing pages and display ads.

Easy Automations

This is probably the most difficult video I've created. It was made during the height of the pandemic, as our first large remote project. I love to dive headfirst into the unknown and up until this point, I had never tried to animate a character. We created this video to communicate Keap's new Easy automation feature to customers before we rolled it out to a wider audience. In retrospect, this video might have been a little too out there for the intended audience, however, I learned a ton working on it and am happy with what we came up with.
